ON THE MAP MEDIA

Self-published author, Celeste Celeste, approached me with an idea to create a book cover design for an erotic novel she was working on. After she provided me with the details of the story, here is what I created…

The goal with this project was coming up with a visual that would entice readers to pick up the book while not overly playing up on the word "Scratch". I took a photo, retouched it in Photoshop. I liked the impact that black and white brought to the visual; it added a darkness as found in the story.

The result is an eye-catching book cover that the author was excited to see. A cover that has been designed picture perfectly to what we had discussed.
